The Real Housewives of Playa del Carmen
En fantastisk dag helt enkelt, som mynnade ut i en grym kväll dessutom!
Malin had one of her very rare days off the other day, so we decided to hang out and ended up running around in various shops and fixing stuff for Guilty Monkey. One of our errands was to go and order bar chairs which, for economic purposes, we did on the other side of town, in a little less exploited part of Playa. While there, we spotted before mentioned shopping cart, which I would like to call "antique", rusting under an "Angel's Trumpet" (super poisonous btw) in the backyard of a scruffy little house. After a quick chat with the owner Malin paid 100 pesos for the shopping cart and then immediately presented it as a gift to Guilty Monkey! (Isn't she just the best?) The shopping cart is in very good condition, only slightly rusty and dirty, and pulls quite a bit to the right, but otherwise it runs nicely. And it turned out to be incredibly handy to have as we had so many errands to run, so it filled up pretty fast, and I'm not even going to try to describe the looks we got from all the Mexicans; two blonde Swedes pulling an old rusty shopping cart, squeaking loudly. Haha.
